Stillness

Stillness

Random Musings

I’m at work in the office, and for once the referrals are slow. The kind of slow that gives you space to notice the quiet instead of bracing for the next interruption. There’s no rush right now, no urgency pulling me in different directions, just a rare moment to sit and breathe without feeling like I should be doing more. I don’t get this kind of peace often, and I can feel myself easing into it carefully, almost suspicious of the calm. I’m not having any big realizations—just appreciating the stillness while it’s here, letting the day move gently for once.
